We want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Where We Belong at Coventry Canal Basin. It was truly magical to see the community’s creativity shine across the water in a spectacular lantern display, brought to life with an immersive soundscape of poetry and recorded voices from the community. The evening was filled with joy, reflection and a beautiful celebration of the Spring Equinox.

A huge thank you to all the incredible community groups who made it such a meaningful six week journey.

We are so grateful to everyone across the city who handcrafted stunning lanterns, wrote poems and recorded stories alongside our brilliant artists Andrea, Brenda, Ella, Pippa and Phil. Thank you for your dedication, energy and care. You helped make the project and the evening unforgettable, bringing together the pride we all share in our city.

It was a pleasure to work with Canal & River Trust and Coventry City Council to bring this light installation on the water to life. Thank you also to our incredible freelancers and production crew, Arts Council England and Garfield Weston for your continued support.
