As part of the London Cultural Olympiad, Imagineer worked with 17 local and regional engineering companies to make a 10 metre high Lady Godiva puppet.
Godiva will ‘awake’ on July 28th in in Cathedral Square, accompanied over 2000 musicians, dancers and carnival performers.
The puppet will then travel from Coventry to London on Cyclopedia – a 50 person bicycle powdered vehicle.
The week long journey will have stops at Rugby, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Luton, Hatfield and Waltham Abbey.
On returning to Coventry, we hope that Godiva will take up residence in the city, becoming a visitor attraction and source of inspiration.
