A night out with a purpose. Everyone’s welcome!
Pitch is part of our new programme Powerhouse Generator, designed to help grassroots, creative and community ideas grow in a kind, supportive environment.
We’ll be hearing pitches, sharing food, listening to live music and each person will vote for the idea they want to support.
How the night works
Fair. Friendly. No pressure. Just people backing people.
The pitches
Each shortlisted applicant will share an idea they care about – something they want to try, test, or develop. This isn’t about being polished or persuasive. It’s about being passionate and supporting people.
The audience’s role
Why come?
Because creativity grows better when people feel supported, and early ideas need kind rooms, not high pressure. Because funding can be transparent, human, and generous, especially when it’s shaped by the people who show up.
Come and back someone with a passion, be part of a welcoming, community-led night, and leave feeling like you helped something begin.
Access & welcome
Location: Our home, The Daimler Powerhouse, Sandy Lane Business Park, Coventry, CV1 4DQ – Watch this short video on how to find us.
We want everyone to feel comfortable attending. If you have access needs or questions before the event, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to support you.
Pay What You Can
This is a pay-what-you-can event. 100% of the money raised, through Ticket Tailor or on the door, goes directly to supporting the shortlisted applicants. If that’s the cost of a coffee or a casual night out – whatever feels right for you. Everyone is welcome, and every contribution helps.
