What a great night at The Daimler Powerhouse for our Christmas 2022 celebration!
The night was full of music, art, delicious food, and great conversation. It was delightful to bring everyone together to mark the end of an action-packed year for Imagineer.
In the Makers Space, we had an exhibition which displayed artwork created by the young people of the Transformations group. The work encompassed all creative areas; paintings, sculptures and digital artworks, as well as a space which included a live Ableton workshop lead by one of the participants. We also has a showcase of videos that were taken of the drama and dance performances which Transformations members and staff alike participated in, led by Richard Hayhow from Open Theatre.
Upstairs we had a few live performances of music performed by Media Mania participants and associates, as well as a DJ set for attendees to enjoy. Attendees of the event could also take the opportunity to get a closer look at our Godiva puppet, who was a part of the Platinum Jubilee Pageant celebrations in June 2022.
A huge thanks to Miss Ellie for the delicious food, Chris Wall for the music and lighting, Media Mania and young participants for the brilliant live music and performances.
Thanks to all our volunteers for all the ongoing support you give.
We are excited to have achieved Arts Council National Portfolio status 2023-2026 and we are sure we will see another action-packed year in 2023.
